Q. I would like to purchase an item. How do I place an order?

A. Click on the “Add to Cart” button (or on the price if there is no button) on the item you want. This will open a new browser window showing the contents of your shopping cart. Click on “Continue Shopping” in the new window (do not close or minimize the window) to return to Old Radio Parts. Review your order at any time by clicking on “View Cart” in the top menu bar or on the “View Cart” text link at the bottom of the page. Whenever any shopping cart window is opened you have the option to remove items or change quantities, then “update” your cart. If you wish, you may stop here and complete your order by mail. When you are finished shopping and are ready to complete your transaction, select “Proceed to Checkout” in the open cart window (click on “View Cart” first if you don’t already have an “Add To Cart” window open) and proceed with your purchase via PayPal. If you are having trouble with the shopping cart, make sure that “cookies” and “javascript” are enabled in your browser; instructions for doing this should be available via your browser’s “Help” link. Q. I recently inquired about a “special order” item. How do I add this to my shopping cart?

Q. Do I have to sign up for PayPal to purchase an item online?

A. Purchasing our items online requires a PayPal account. Signing up is relatively easy and several credit and debit card payment options are available. If you prefer not to sign up with PayPal, you may order via phone or by mail.

Q. How safe is it to purchase items through PayPal?

A. PayPal payments are processed on a secure server using 128 bit data encryption – the highest level commercially available. This scrambles your confidential information as it travels over the internet, making it virtually impossible for anyone to intercept it.

Q. How long will it take to receive my order?

A. After payment is received, your order will be shipped via USPS mail, UPS, or Fedex (depending on item type and weight) as quickly as possible. Please allow at least 6 – 8 business days for delivery after payment is received. If you are paying by check, please allow an additional 5 – 7 business days for your check to clear.

Q. Is there a minimum order?

A. A minimum purchase of $20 (excluding shipping & handling charges) is required on all orders.

Q. Do you ship merchandise outside of the U.S.A?

A. Most items can generally be delivered world-wide. IF YOU ARE ORDERING INTERNATIONALLY, PLEASE DO NOT USE THE SHOPPING CART. Contact me for assistance before ordering (sorry, I cannot accept foreign currency or checks drawn on foreign banks).

Q. What is your return policy?

A. Due to the nature of vintage items, returns must be evaluated on a case-by-case basis. If you purchased a brand new item and it proves to be defective within 7 days of receipt, you will receive a replacement or refund (less shipping costs) at my discretion after the item has been returned. I must be contacted and approval given before any purchased item is returned for any reason. I am not responsible for lost, stolen, misdirected, or carrier-damaged shipments.

A. Old Radio Parts.net will not sell or divulge your name, email address, or any other private information to any person, company, or organization.
